The PEACE program is available to students that fall under the guidelines and attend PICKETT COUNTY K-8. The program offers academic assistance that may include tutoring, and/or homework support in core subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, social science, science, and computer training. The assistance program is aligned to Tennessee’s academic standards, and supports curriculum taught during the regular school day.
In addition, the program offers:
• Educational enrichment activities such as recreation, the arts, science, physical fitness, careers, health, and safety
• A nutritious snack
The PEACE Program begins immediately after the regular school day and runs until 5:00 p.m.
A before-school program is also available from 6:50am to 7:50am.
PEACE also offers literacy support for adult family members of students participating in an after school program.
