Picture of the Day!

Dandelion Wishes
Pick the stem carefully, take a deep breath, and then blow hard to send all the dandelion seeds flying.  If you can blow them all off in one breath, your wish will come true.

Friday's Finish

We finished the  Achievement Day field events on Friday afternoon.  Mrs. Dowdy ended up with a little egg on her after the teacher category!
The academic part of the Achievement Day will be Monday, April 28th.  Students will compete that morning in math, science, handwriting, spelling and several other categories.

Picture of the Day!

I made over 200 photos today, but this was my favorite!  I think it's the freckles!

Snow Cone and Cotton Candy Wednesday!

After spending a long morning of testing, we all headed out for an afternoon of fun.  Snow cones and cotton candy were popular.  During the outside events anyone who wishes to participate may enter, this afternoon we completed softball and football toss. Miss Rebekah was injured by a wild pitch, but she recovered and made it back to the field. (She may have black eyes  tomorrow)  Mrs. Elder spent the entire afternoon making cotton candy and the resource crew served snowcones, drinks, and  other goodies!  Tomorrow is the last day of TCAP testing and there will be more fun in the afternoon.  Don't forget money for snacks (everything is 25 cents) and most importantly remember the sun screen!
