It's a special week in the library. Miss Cross is having a guest reader every hour. People from the community come in and read to each class. My favorite reader today was my Dad, who came and read to Ms. Evans's first graders. He read Horton Hatches the Egg (My favorite Dr. Suess story), Wolf's Chicken Stew and Rabbit and Skunk (from a little book that was mine--it's about 40 years old now!). The students enjoy meeting new people, but I think the readers have the most fun!
