Sad news to report from first grade. They had their first causality today. The teachers explained that sometimes this happens, then they prepared a final resting place for the chick. They dug a hole with a ruler and covered the grave with moss and this nice rock they found, then Miss Rebecca said a few words over the chick about how hard it had worked to get here and how sorry they all were that it didn't make it.
