Chick Count
The first graders have some exciting things happening in Mrs. Jamie's room. The eggs they placed in the incubator are beginning to hatch. This morning when Mrs. Julia arrived at 7:00 A.M. there were two chicks. This afternoon when we left the chick count was up to eight!
The teachers have hooked up the flexcam to the classroom TV so that students are able to see into the incubator .
As we left there a couple of eggs like this one that had begun to hatch. All the first graders were very excited about this. During the TCAP the chicks stayed in the work room, so they would not distract. Check out the first grade blog in our blog roll to keep informed about the current chick count!
