Another Unusual Visitor

It seems this Spring that we here at Pickett County K-8 have been visited by several unusual birds around our school. Early Monday morning was no different. This is a picture that Mrs. Jolly took of an American Coot that was located outside her and Mrs. Norris' classroom doors. She wanted us to take special notice of its very distinctive feet, which are a bright turquoise color and are not webbed. For more information on the American Coot click here.
