Fifth Graders Begin DARE

The fifth grade class began their DARE classes today. Deputy Keith Smith is their instructor. DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. The program will last about 12 weeks, with a weekly Wednesday class. At the end of the twelve weeks, the K-8 fifth graders will have a graduation ceremony. Today's lesson was an introduction to the program and a lesson about decision making.
