I am sad to report that Miss Elizabeth's 5th & 6th grade science classes lost their pet lizard GiGi this week. The fifth graders held a ceremony and prepared this final resting place near the school. The store who sold the lizard has agreed to replace it next week.One of the kindergarten students Cole, wrote this song for the lizard:
Ohh lizard ohh lizard why did you die? Why couldn't you stay for a longer while? So now I sing a little ding, in your memory!
Noah, one of the fifth grade students, performed the song during the graveside service.
