Fractions with cookies

Today, in Mrs. Shelia Jolly's 4th grade math classes students used cookies to learn about fractions. Students were to take the cookies and use them as parts of a fraction and determine if they had enough parts or "cookies" to make a whole. The students were very creative in bringing in cookies to use. Students were so excited about this lesson. Did I mention it smelled great while taking these pictures!!!
