There were lots and lots of exciting things going on today for our annual Safety Day and Kindergarten Firetruck Ride! Several different local agencies came to school to teach students about safety in general. Some of the exhibitors and volunteers that showed up included people from the Pickett County Fire Dept, Pickett County Sheriff's Dept, Picket County EMS, Air Evac, the Forestry Division, TWRA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Meth Taskforce, as well as several other people and exhibitors. Students enjoyed learning about how each agency and ourselves can keep the people in our community safe. Thanks to all that participated in today's events and those that helped make them possible.
