Teddy Bear Week

Here's the agenda for Teddy Bear Week:

The halls are filled with information--as you can see in the photos! Miss Alice will ask the question of the day each morning and everyone will be given a chance to write their answer and two winners will be drawn from the correct answers.

There are three jars full of delicious teddies(gummies and teddy grahams) and students will be allowed to guess the number of bears in the jar. The person closest to or on the exact number will win the jar of teddies. These jars are right outside of Miss Alice's room!

Friday is bring your teddy bear to school day. The bears will be displayed in the library, but they will need to go back home with you that afternoon, because you can't get a good night's sleep without your teddy bear. Be sure to put a tag on your Teddy that has your name on it.Miss Robin's 3rd graders study the bear info in the hall so they will be ready for the questions!

School Portraits--Tuesday and Wednesday

Don't forget school pictures are Tuesday for pre-k to third grade and Wednesday for grades 4-8. Solid color clothing will look best with the background. Re-takes will only be for those who were absent or eyes that closed or blinked. ( Or if you make a really bad face.)
Siblings need a note from a parent to have photos made together. Remember the photographer is set up for individual photographs, he can do 2 0r 3 siblings together but if your group has more than 3 you may want to go the studio for your photos.
These are the photos that will be used in the yearbook. Sports pictures will be made later in the fall and individual and class group photos will be in the spring.
In a couple of weeks you will receive a proof and can make an order for these school portraits.

School Pictures September 9 and 10

Next Tuesday and Wednesday we will be making school portraits. These are the photos that will be used in the yearbook. Joel Poston will be our photographer. He will be making pre-k through third grade on Tuesday and fourth through eighth grade on Wednesday. Solid color clothing will look best with the background we have chosen.
This year re-takes will only be available for those students who were absent or those who blinked or closed their eyes, or made a face! Time restraints keep us from re-doing the photo because you did not remember to dress appropriately or just want to escape class for a few moments.
If siblings wish to have their pictures made together, we will need a note from a parent. Sibling pictures can be made on either day.
You can expect to see the proof and order form for this photo in about two weeks.
Another school portrait will be made in the spring.

Sawyer's Week-end with Teddy T.

Sawyer and Teddy T. had a big week-end playing football, hanging out with puppies, fishing, eating and after all that they needed some rest!
